Portfolio
With a strong foundation in electrical engineering and years of hands-on experience, I have led and contributed to numerous innovative projects in the biomedical and aerospace industries. My work includes developing complex diagnostic instruments, optimizing signal integrity in PCB designs, and managing end-to-end hardware development lifecycles.
Research Diagnostic Instruments
Projects
Integrated ATMega328P into 6 separate systems. Created system block diagrams, interconnects, and wire diagrams. Board designs up to 6-layers, all done in Altium. Digital protocols include I2C, SPI, and USB. Power management for DC motors, stepper motors, servo motors, and heating elements. Built cables and tested system quality and integrity. Wrote python and C++ for controls and sensor feedback processing.
Airborne Embedded Subsystem
Designed schematic and layout for datalink digital and RF board in Altium. Digital protocols included RS-485, I2C, SPI, DDR3, PCIe, and JESD. Wrote VHDL test code for initial system integration. Power management of 4 core microprocessor, including sequencing and simulation. Designed schematic for rigid-flex 12-layer interface board hosting an ethernet switch and RS-232 and RS-485.
